Inspired by our love for good gin, good cocktails, and New Zealand, elevate your gin-game with these exciting gin cocktail recipes.

These cocktails use the following Top Shelf Flavourings: Blood Orange Gin, Elderflower Gin, Dry Gin and Pink Grapefruit Gin. These recipes, full of fresh and exciting flavours, are sure to be your new favourites!

Wellington Sunset

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Blood Orange
  • 200 ml tonic water
  • A slice of blood orange and a sprig of thyme for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Pour the gin into a glass filled with ice.
  2. Top up with tonic water.
  3. Garnish with a slice of blood orange and a sprig of thyme.
  4. Enjoy!

South Island Bloom

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Elderflower Gin
  • 20 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 100ml prosecco
  • A sprig of mint for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Pour the gin and lemon juice into a glass.
  2. Add ice, gently stir, top up with prosecco.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
  4. Enjoy!

Kahurangi Zest

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Pink Grapefruit Gin
  • 200 ml soda water 
  • A few fresh basil leaves
  • A slice of pink grapefruit for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Lightly muddle the basil leaves in a glass.
  2. Add ice, pour in the gin, top up with soda water.
  3. Gently stir and garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit.
  4. Enjoy!

Queenstown Quencher

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Dry Gin
  • 200 ml Indian tonic water
  • A couple of twists of black pepper
  • A slice of lime for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Pour the gin into a glass filled with ice.
  2. Top up with tonic water.
  3. Add a couple of twists of black pepper.
  4. Stir gently and garnish with a slice of lime.
  5. Enjoy!

Kiwiana Mingle

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Blood Orange Gin
  • 20 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Pink Grapefruit Gin
  • 150ml ginger ale
  • A sprig of rosemary and an orange slice for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Pour the gins into a glass with ice.
  2. Top up with ginger ale and stir gently.
  3. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and an orange slice. 
  4. Enjoy!

Remember, always use good quality ice, it makes a difference to the final drink.
